Q. What is the OYO Referral Program?
The OYO Referral program lets you (Referrer) invite your friends, family & colleagues (Referee) to use the OYO app. For every successful referral, you get a referral reward.
Q. What are the benefits under the referral program?

Q. What qualifies as a valid referral?
For a given phone number, the referee installs the OYO app and also creates an account on OYO platform for the first time. If a user uninstalls the app and then installs the app again, then it does not qualify for a referral. If a user installs the app on the new phone but registers with an existing mobile number, then it does not qualify for a referral. The user has not already signed up with another OYO account on the same device.
Q. Can I invite a friend from a different country?
You will earn rewards only when you refer friends/family in the same country. For e.g. If you have registered with an Indian mobile number, you will get rewards only when your referrals also sign up with an Indian mobile number.
Q. Is there a limit on the referral invites I can send?
Good friends share the good stuff. There is no limit to the number of friends you invite to OYO.
General Terms and Conditions:
1. OYO customer who have made a confirmed booking with OYO gets an option to refer their friends by sharing their invite code and receive an additional benefit of ₹50 for every new sign-up that takes place with the use of their referral code. This is over and above the benefit, a guest receives in the form of OYO Money.
2. This benefit is only available on bookings made using the OYO Mobile Application.
3. The maximum benefit that the guest can avail of under this program is ₹200 per booking.
4. The benefit availed under this program is not transferable.
5. A referral is defined as a case where a new user, who has never created an OYO app account using a phone number, installs and signs into the OYO app. At the time of installing, the user will need to enter the ‘invite code’ in the personal details section or sign up through the referral link shared by the referrer for the referral to be considered.
6. Only new sign-ups will be counted as referral sign-ups for a guest. If you share your code with someone who already has an account existing on the OYO app, it will not count as a referral.
7. It may take up to 2 hours for the Referral discount/benefit to be adjusted against the current booking. The same can be confirmed by clicking on the booking amount on the ‘Upcoming Bookings’ section of the OYO app.
8. The benefit can only be adjusted against the amount outstanding as payment on the guest’s booking. In case the booking is pre-paid, the total benefit will be less than or equal to the balance amount payable on the booking prior to check-in.
(a) For example, if you make a booking of ₹1000 and have made an advance payment of ₹1000, you will not receive any benefit in this booking.
(b) If you make a booking of ₹1000 and the amount payable on the booking is ₹200 or more, you will receive a benefit equal to ₹50 for every sign-up and up to ₹200 prior to check-in.
9. The benefit can only be adjusted prior to check-in. Any sign-ups that take place after the check-in will not be adjusted for in the booking amount. However, the sign-ups post check-in will be eligible to get the usual invite & earn offer as mentioned on the “invite & earn page” on the OYO mobile app.
10. The benefit is given in the form of a discount on the guest’s current booking.
11. In case the booking is canceled, the benefit will lapse and is non-transferable. Guest cannot claim this benefit against any other booking.
12. In case guest makes any additional bookings, they may be given the option to refer and save on those bookings from time to time.
13. OYO can update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. This article will be modified to show the updated Terms & Conditions.
14. OYO may, without notice, suspend or terminate the Referral Program or a user’s ability to participate in the Referral Program at any time for any reason. Requirements and incentives may also change at any time.
15. OYO reserves the right to suspend accounts or remove referrals if it notices any activity that it believes is abusive or fraudulent.
16. OYO reserves the right to review and investigate all referral activities and suspend accounts or cancel or modify referrals as it deems fair and appropriate.
17. OYO referral program should be used only for personal and non-commercial purposes, and only shared with personal connections that will appreciate receiving these invitations.
18. You cannot invite yourself. You cannot invite anyone who uses the same mobile device as you. You cannot distribute your referral link on sites where you are not the primary content owner (e.g. Wikipedia, coupon websites). You cannot promote your invite code via search engine marketing (e.g. AdWords/Yahoo/Bing/etc.).
19. Post booking discount cannot be transferred or exchanged for any cash. Discount accrued in multiple accounts cannot be combined into one OYO Rupee account
